Jakob's Fight for Sight 2nd Annual Golf Tournament and Auction
Last year's golf tournament was such a great success that we thought we could do it again to try and help other kids just like Jakob!!
We decided to raise funds for a group called "PaceKids" This organization has helped Jakob and our family in many ways. First they gave us an Aide who came to our home daily to work with Jake for 2 hours so that he could get the extra one on one time he needs to overcome some of his challenges. They also offer a safe facility where Jakob can go and play with other kids his age who all have a developmental delays once a week. The facility is filled with several rooms like a gym, sensory room, as well as a almost bare vision room. It is our goal to donate to PaceKids this year enough money to equip the vision room with all the things it needs to help kids like Jakob with vision problems the room will be named "Jakob's Vision Room".
We believe this is a wonderful cause and without this program Jakob wouldn't be the same.
This year's tournament will be held once again at Springbank Links on August 20, 2009.
